The Gold Coast Turf Club's Tracks, Tunnel & Lights project transformed Aquis Park, home of the Magic Millions, into a world-class racing venue. Delivered by BMD Group for Racing Queensland and the GCTC, the multi-million dollar redevelopment installed an all-weather synthetic track, completely refurbished the racing surfaces, added state-of-the-art broadcast lighting for night racing and built an in-field equine tunnel.

Blackbox captured the staged works as racing and training continued around the construction program, documenting everything from the first turf lifts to the lights switching on for night racing. Filming on an operating racecourse meant working to race-day schedules and around horses, and the coverage tracks the venue's transformation without a meeting missed.
